WEEK IN REVIEW
I knew I wouldn't get the information I wanted to just from reading a book," said Nancy Goward, 42, from Cape Cod, Mass. "It's beautiful, but it's really different." These kinds of small hotels were built for middle-class customers because wealthy people always went to Palm Beach, Timm said. Their rounded exteriors are reminiscent of rounded automobiles and oceanliners. They are made of concrete, while porous limestone was used as a decorative element, Timm said. The limestone is a native South Florida coral rock. The historic district extends from Sixth Street to 23rd Street, but the group tours usually stay in the teen blocks and can take up to two hours. The individual tour is designed to take less than an hour. "The idea is that it (the tour) goes in a circle," said Jeff Donnelly, part-time professor of American Studies at the University of Miami and director of the tour school that trains the guides.

Going up? Postage stamps are
But the Forever stamps will still be valid for first-class postage after that. And they can be bought for 41 cents until the new rates take place, postal officials said. The post office has sold 5 billion Forever stamps since they were introduced last April and it plans to have an additional 5 billion in stock to meet the expected demand before the May price change, the agency said. The charge for other services, such as advertising mail, periodicals, packages special services will also change. Changes in the price for Priority Mail and Express Mail will be announced later, the agency said. Postage rates last went up in May 2007, with a first-class stamp jumping 2 cents to the current 41-cent rate. In the past raising postage rates was a long, complex process involving hearings before the independent Postal Regulatory Commission, a process that could take nearly a year.
Kate: Matthew will be an incredible dad
According to his friend and co-star Kate Hudson, he has what it takes to be a great dad. "I think he will be an incredible dad," she said to People.com "Matthew happens to be one of the most loving and loyal people I know and his family is important to him. He's great with kids and I think he'll be a very responsible and absolute blast of a dad." And the 28-year-old mother-of-one, who starred with Matthew in How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days and upcoming Fool's Gold, said people shouldn't be fooled by Matthew's public image, which often includes photos of the actor letting his hair down. "I think because people see Matthew always out doing something whether it's out dancing in a bar or being on the beach or taking a hike with some crazy bandana on, I think that, like anything, they take their image and what they want somebody else to be and then they just run with that," she added.
